Evie's story is one of gentle beginnings, unexpected turns, and a whole lot of love. She came into the rescue from a kind man in Ohio, and it was initially believed she was a little boy kitten. Evie was so timid at first that it was difficult to confirm- until trust slowly bloomed. As she settled in, two surprises were uncovered:
Evie was not a he... and she was pregnant.
A baby herself, carrying babies of her own. Despite her young age, Evie showed incredible resilience and tenderness. She formed a deep bond with her foster mom, who cared for her throughout her pregnancy. When the big moment arrived, Evie woke her foster mom up to let her know she was going into labor, trusting her completely to help deliver her precious E-Team litter babies.
Evie has been an absolutely wonderful mother- patient, attentive, nurturing, and protective. She has shown the heart of a much older, wiser cat, all while still being a kitten, figuring out the world herself. Now that her babies are growing and thriving, it's Evie's turn to be the one who gets spoiled.

She has come such a long way from the timid kitten who first arrived. Evie is ready to learn what it means to be someone’s baby — not someone’s mom.
Ideal home for Evie? She would thrive in a calm, patient home that would, respectful people give her the security she deserves. She has a gentle nature, so a quieter environment with kind and respectful people would be perfect. She would do well with other cats given proper introductions, and she does enjoy the company of dogs!
